How can I turn off my computer?

Ken,

My computer won't stay off. When I power down utilizing the "Start" button, it goes through the motions of shutting down, and seems to turn off, but 2 seconds later it turns itself on and starts up again. Suggestions?

When you have something like this, what you can do is something ive done myself before, you turn it off on the button thats on the computer, you can hold it for some seconds, wait and when you see the screens goes off, then that means your computer is off, just let me say I dont personally recommend you make it a habbit out of turning it off like this.
