I use Netscape 7.0 as my browser.

When I save something the only way I can retrieve it (open the file) is if I saved it using Paint>Wordpad. Just clicking on "Save" or "Save As" in the open window or email puts it into a format that the computer always says something to the effect that it doesn't have the necessary things to open it in that format. I don't understand how it can SAVE something but not have the necessary whatever to OPEN it once saved!!! I am NOT very computer literate so am at a complete loss when it tells me to click on the MS icon to install the needed things. When I go there it gives me a bunch of choices which are complete GREEK to me! I don't have anyone who IS computer literate who I can ask for help so am turning to you in sheer desperation. Can you help? Please???

You have the trouble with all web pages you save or just some?

You shouldn’t have to install anything at all but saving web pages you will get the ads Some times you can get around some things by going to the site and then go up to file and to edit page Let it load in composer and then save it from there.
