INSTALLED ZONE ALARM PRO NOW ITS IN LISTENING MODE CAN HACKER GET IN THAT OPEN PORT

I installed Zone Alarm Pro. I can now see that the Microsoft Messenger is in the

"listening" mode. As long as my Messenger is on and listening, does this mean that a hacker can get in that open port?
