I have been having trouble with my computer running sluggishly, etc. since the dreaded impact of the Blaster Worm. I am running Windows XP Pro, and upon scanning for viruses it showed that my computer is infected with the worm Spybot.gen in C:\Windows\system32\mscon . How do I fix this problem to remove the virus from my computer? When I scanned for a virus, I used a free program available online and it only said that the virus was "non-cleanable" and did not suggest any means in which to remove the infected area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am pretty much computer illiterate when it comes to these types of problems so I'm hoping there's someone there who can give me a step-by-step fix to get my computer up and running problem free again. Thank you very much for your services! -- Kim

What you can do is reformat your hard drive, by taking a cd of your operating system which is XP pro and stick in to the cd rom drive and reinstall your operating system Or you can open up your computer and take out the cmos battery Which is located on your mother, it's the biggest computer chip and it have cables connected to it look around for a battery take it out for 24 hrs, by doing so you can kill any thing that infected your computer put it back in and try to reboot it Carlos Millan Jr.
