Why can't I copy MP3 to CDs?

Ok - I have just got new ram, motherbord, cpu. I put my cd drive in and managed to install windows xp fine. Now when I try and copy mp3 cd's it screwed up half way through. Sometimes gives me a cyclic redundincy error. I swaped the drive and the same problem happens.

Any common problems that might expalin this???

The problem could be that XP is not compatible with the program You should find an update that will work with XP.
