WANTS TO GET A REASONABLE PRICED AUDIO ONLY CARDS TO COPY LPS ON TO CD

I have Roxio Easy CD &DVD Creator 6, which supports analog sound recording. I have many old LPs that I want to archive onto CDs. Roxio support tells me that I need a "capture card", and that just connecting to a USB port will not work. I have no interest in video capture, only audio (stereo). I am generally illiterate in this arena. Are there reasonably priced "audio only" cards out there? "Reasonable" means something the wife would understand.
