SOUND CARD POSSIBLE CAUSE OF THE PCI NOT WORKING

I am having a sound problem concerning the PCI-ISA bridge connection.

I have visual but no sound.Anything requiring sound doesn't work.

I have tried reinstalling drivers with no success.
