What is a ME problem

I get error message after startup: "Loader has caused an error in LOADER.EXE. Loader.exe will close know. How can I fix it? thanks for your help.

This a problem I was having with Win Me and what I did was reinstall the ME cd and it would put the Loader in The ME cd should repair it on its own.
