while scanning for virus computer stops and does an uncommanded reboot...followed ny microsoft message that system has recovered from a crash.

It could be either one or two things If you have a lot of files on your computer then hey it's taking up memory which slows down you computer and makes it crash or you could possibily have a computer Virus I would reformat the hard drive, but first try running a diagnostics on your software By running a diagnostics you will find out what's wrong with your computer
