I was told about a virus named jdbgmgr.exe (it has a teddy bear icon). I have this in my windows systems folder. Is this a virus? Should I delete this icon? Do I need to warn other people in my address book (I was warned by someone else)? What damage does it do? and is it to late? Thanks.

Hello...

NO

DO NOT FORWARD THAT EMAIL NOR DELETE THAT FILE..

Upon my search on symantec i found this link and description of what it is.

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/jdbgmgr.exe.file.hoax.html

Check out that link and if you like forward to all the people you might have sent it to or have sent it to you.

Anytime you see an email from anyone even a friend about deleting something on your computer you should first copy the supposedly virus name and put it in to a google search and you should be able to find articles about it on the symatec website or any other antivirus or computer site

I hope this has helped you

Good luck
