Ways to determine a sound card manufacturer?

How do i determine what soundcard is installed, so that I can download the driver for it?

You can right click on My Computer->Properties->Device Manager tab->look for the sound card and double click on it Go to Update Drivers tab and choose to Automatically update it Make sure you are connected online so that it can check online for updated drivers.

If that doesnt work open the case and look at the card for the model #, and manufacturer.
