What is svchost.exe and how do i handle the problem?

After I have been on the internet for a couple of minutes , I get the error message "svchost.exe

problem - an error log has been created". After this message appears I am unable to connect to

links in most web pages. What is svchost.exe and how do I rectify the problem? Please help !

Well, that can be some pop up giving you a warning that there is problem running the page you are trying to run, you should be careful with those because if you are not you can end up getting your computer a virus, the way to handle it is by reading it correctly and alway well, most of the times saying yes, meaning clicking ok.
