When I'm surfing the internet, my home page and toolbars keep defaulting to "www.surferbar.com". I've tried resetting my homepage via tools/internet opptions, but "surferbar" keeps coming back. What is this and how do I get rid of it?

Hello...

I hate these kind of programs They tamper and mess up a lot of things From my research i have found only one program which has said to have worked Surferbar is one of the newest one they have some there wasn't many programs that could remove it.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=3155

Go there and download the "hijack this" software It is free to use and it should detect the surerbar and remove it

After you get that cleaned you can keep "hijack this" or you can download AdAware which is what i use and it is great for all kinds of these things It deletes tracking cookies as well.

you can Find Ad Aware here http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ It is also Freeware so no need to buy anything as well as user friendly.

I hope this has helped you.

Good luck
