Just a few days ago, I just bought a new ViewSonic VA720 flat monitor. It works great, however, ever since i bought the monitor, everytime I turn on my computer, Windows XP start booting up as usual, after it boots up, it should go to the User log in screen right away, however, now everytime Windows XP booted, the monitor goes black, like a pause, for a LONG time, maybe 3 mins, then when I thought the computer froze, it goes to the User log in screen. I'm a little concern about this problem and was wondering if theres a way to fix this problem, Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

-Try to change the doze features in CMOS, using a menu option such as Power Management, or, in Windows 9X , using Control Panel,Display ,Screen saver

-Try disabling the power mangement features in CMOS and using only those in Windows 9X.

-In the monitor has a Power Safe switch on the back of the monitor, check that is set correctly.
