Get audio for Windows Messanger to WORK !!!!

I have set-up external microphone, have check and double checked - when I go into Audio Wizard I can see the mic working when I do a test... when my partner requests a Voice Connection nothing happens.... but while I'm saying Hello - Hello - the vertical audio box next to the mic's volume adjustment IS going up and down....

When I open messanger it says; You are not signed in to "SIP" (???) Click here to sign in - then get a box with the above address and when I click OK - I get a message... An HTTPS or the TCP connection could not be made - wait for your network administrator to correct this problem and try again later ??????

H E L P !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 First, lower your Internet Explorer security settings (firewalls can cause a problem, so check those settings as well)

2 Next, contact your network administrator at Yahoo or AOL messenger (click live help on their homepage)

3 Lastly, make sure all checkmarks have been checked in the volume control panel (mic and aux included).
