Virus still being recieved thru email?

i keep getting emails that my anti-virus does catch, i think over thirty from sept. 2nd to sept. 14th, i looked on anti-virus reports and they are put in back up which i delete, is this the proper thing todo, also why am i getting these? they are called sobig. i run anti-virus scans that say my system is clean, but i'm worried that some will infect my computer, i wonder why i'm getting them none of my friends seem to get any? why me? thank you for any insights you can forward to me.

If you are using Norton Antivirus make sure your email scanning is turned on To turn it on you can click on Nortons Anti virus to open it then click on Options Then click Email then make sure Scan Incoming and Outgoing is checked and to increase your protection put a check at Enable Worm Blocking and Alert when scanning Email Attachments.
