What is do a run command

i have lost the icon on my tool bar,the one thats showes that i am connected to the internet.is there anyway you can tell me how to get it back.thanks

Go to run and type msconfig and look in your list of start up settings to see if the icon is checked off You may also go to your add/remove programs and then add the ie icon Finally you can go to your list of programs and create a shortcut on your desktop.
