I currently use Road Runner for my internet service provider. Over the last three months I continuously receive a window which appears about every half hour or so. The window is titled “Untitled” “Popunder: Popunder.exe – Application Error” the window continues with “The instruction at “0x746f3b60” referenced memory at “0x746f3b60”. The memory could not be “read” Click on OK to terminate the program”.

I am not for sure what this means or why it continues to pop up. I have clicked “OK” to stop any unwanted program; however, this window continues to pop up on a regular basis. I also have noticed a larger than normal amount of pop up advertisements appearing on a regular basis. I need assistance on how to prevent these from happening. I have used my Norton Anti Virus 2003 in an attempt locate and eliminate these issues but have had no luck as of yet.

Do you have any advice on how to eliminate the popunder exe and pop up window problem?

Thank you,

There happen to be a number of programs you can use to eliminate pop ups, I myself happen to be using bullguard, I can personally recommend that.
