How can I restart my computer?

when i try to restart my computer it hangs up, i try to re install my os but it doesn't work, can you please help me.

One thing you can do is something I personally happen to do, I did this on this past weekend matter of fact, you can shut it, and reshut it again to turn on, and it work I must say tho I dont recommend you get the habit of this because this might later on do some dammage to your computer in the later long run.
