DVD Problems?

Hi,

I have a problem with my DVD player on my computer! It will NOT play music/audio cd's! I have NO idea why! It will play a DVD or any other programme you put in the tray, but will NOT recognize music cd's. It will scan the disc, but can never seem to find any information when a music cd is loaded!

I have updated Windows Media Player, I have reloaded Windows 98, I searched Windows for Drivers, but still no luck, any ideas?
