I ran the housecall virus scan and there were no viruses on my computer, so I am assuming that the inability to download .exe files is not caused by a virus. Is there anything else that you can suggest?

This question was answered on September 10, 2003. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting.
What I suggest for you to do is start internet explorer on the toolbar click on tools scroll down to internet options under internet option click on security, click on custom level verify that files download are enabled.
