How can I turn off my computer by a time table scheme?

How can i shut down my computer automatically by a time table scheme?

Well, I dont know exactly what you mean by a time table scheme, but if its what am thinking it is, which is a time set, meaning in a exact amount of time, then I guess you would have to keep it as clean as you can, dont have too many things running at the same time when you are about to log off, because that can cause it to slow down a bit.
