What is xp default

my computer just shows my desktop without the icons or start button and i cant right click and it wont let me open anything cous i cant do anything it just shows my desktop??

Xp works like that What you can do is right click anywhere on your desktop Go to properties and then go to desktop and from there you could put your icon and start.
