Per your instructions, I went to http://www.computerproblems.com/questions/question.cfm?id=3530
and did as it says to prevent worm attacks from stealing my address book. BUT, if I find out I DO have a worm, how do I know what kind it is in order to find out how get rid of it?
My spam has increased tremendously the last few weeks. This morning I received 29 messages - my filter deleted 22. Of the 7 left, 4 were spam.
In my filters I add the @__________ part of all foreign addresses and weird US ones. Chances are very slim that I would prevent someone legit from contacting me.

Install an Anti-Virus on your system Usually if you suspect you have a worm they tell you what to do if you suspect you have a virus on your system before you install the software I recommend Nortons Anti-virus and also Firewall to fully protect your computer Also with the mail also add the full name besides adding the @_______ part that way you stop those specific emails from coming thru again.
