I am trying to install windows me onto my computer at present setup is:

C: (Windows 98)

D: (Attempting To Install Window ME)

E: (Windows 2000)

F (Windows 2000)

G: (Windows XP Home)

H (Windows XP Home)

I am using hyper o/s version 6 which basically allows multi boot of operating sytems.

Whenever i try to install windows me from it attempts to install itself onto c: drive and does not give me any option to put onto d: drive. Then i get message saying: Your computer already has an operating system installed which cannot be upgrade by this version of set. You need to obtain windows me upgrade.

Message: SU0168

Apologies for long email but i wanted to explain all.

Many Thanks

What you can do is look into a Utility program called Partition Magic which is a software that allows you to repartition your hardrives without you needed to run a fix disk command (fdisk)

and basically add more space virtual space to existing partitions without loosing any of your original settings

CAUTION: WHEN USING PARTITION MAGIC ON YOUR HARDDRIVE YOUR COMPUTER WILL REWRITE THE BIOS TO YOUR HARDDRIVE AND THE DEFAULT BIOS SETTING WILL BECOME PROGRAMMED FOR PARTITION MAGIC ONLY
