What is BIOS

Every time I start my computer up it goes through the correct motions, but when it begins to load the programs into the startup shortcut trey, it freezes up ad I can not access any of the programs on desktop. I have tried many things to prevent this from happening but it keeps doing it. Do you have any suggestions?

What you can do is go into your bios settings and start computer in safety mode.

ctrl alt del then press del continuosly to get into your bios this way your computer will bypass other programs and run all the vital programs needed to run your computer in safety mode.
