Whats wrong with my computer not allowing me to click on anything?

HI

When I turn my computer on it loads everything as it normally does but then when it goes to the desktop it flashes on and off. I still see my backround so its only the icons that flash. I can not click on anything. I can only do the ctrl+Alt+del and browes programs that way. I have done disk clean and checked programs to make sure everything is running. I can not figure out what is wrong.

Well hun, the best I can recommend you do is hire a professional technician and have it checked out, since you said you tried cleaning the disk and checking and pressing ctrl alt del and still, you can ofcourse do some booting on it, but if anything try to hire a proffesional technician for the job.
