I just built my own computer. Everything works fine, except when I try to install my copy of Windows XP Professional I get errors about corrupt files on the hard drive and it exists installation. I was wondering if there was a way to clear the hard drive, that does not have an operating system on it, or a way for me to just install Windows XP Professional without the corrupt error popping up to exit installation. Thank you.

You would have to reboot your computer and install win xp from scratch The only way to clear the hard drive is to erase everything in it by manualy deleting all the files but only while you are rebooting win xp
