What is internet Explorer

everytime i go to my college website i always get a message that says that internet explorer has incurred a problem and has to shut down. And like it says it always shuts down, everytime. what is the problem. i can access the site from other computers though.

This might not be a problem with internet explorer but a problem with your college web site try accessing a different web site and see if internet explorer shuts down if it does not, you may not have the ability to access your college web site off compus.
