My computer, that has been working perfectly since i installed XP six months ago, suddenly is giving problems. CPU usage is around 2% but when I open an application it now takes a few seconds (which it never used to do) and running a programme is so jerky that games are unplayable. Media Player is also slow to load and jerky. Also, the computer doesn't shut down properly. What could be the problem?
