Two Questions

1. I just updated to XP home edition. When installed and turned on it went straight to the desktop without a stop. I did all the needed updates for xp. Now on startup, it stops and I have to click on my name to continue to the desktop. I want to just turn on the computer and go straight to the desktop without stopping. How can I change back to the the orginal (?) startup process?

2. Those little pop-up balloons that show from the bottom taskbar that tell you how fast you are connected, etc. How can I stop these from showing? They become an irritation quickly.

Thanks

The problem is that you have to go back to the installation process and set up your xp edition manually again so that you could be able to set up the installation so that it can go straight to your desktop when you sign in.

You have to go to settings and then after settings you could be able to inable the pop up screen for connection.
