What is mag 17 monitor

I have an Emachine (which I love) I changed the monitor from the Emachine 17" to a MAG 17" (which appeared to have a slightly larger viewing area. However, I can't get my viewing area to cover the whole monitor screen on the MAG (it did on the Emachine Monitor). I tried to make all the adjustments the MAG booklet told me, but I am still short about 1 1/2" all the way around from covering the screen size.

How can I adjust? Thanks, Andrea

Try right clicking any empty area on the desktop click on properties click on settings and then adjust the settings as needed.
