How do I record .wav?

I have CoolEdit in my computer,and figured out how to record(to .WAV File) directly from my TV/VCR and from my AM/FM/Shortwave Radio,but still can not figuire out how to record from an Internet Live Radio station..When I try it,a pop-up says need "MMSYSTEM 004",but no luck using search engine what it means..Do I have to install another software program?
