I want to sort my start menu programs by name, but when I right click on the program list the context menu comes on and goes away immediately. How can I fix this?

To arrange your start menu, click start, settings, taskbar & start menu properties Go to the advanced tab Right click within the area with your programs in the start menu window Go to arrange icons, by name.

That should fix your problem.
