Computer tries to dial ISP all the time. Have run MSCONFIG and checked start-up list and unchecked all which I thought needed the Internet. Changed McAfee auto update to manual.

This happens no mater what I am doing such as in Flight Simulator or playing a card game.

ISP says everything is OK on their end. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

If I were you i would get the latest updates for your antivirus software and run it Then get a spyware program such as spybot search and destroy or ad-aware 6.0 and run it My first thought is you have a spyware program or keylogger on your CPU that tries to send information to its website which could be why your ISP browser keeps starting up Below are the websites to the spyware software they are free to download.

for spybot s&d: http://www.safer-networking.org/
