What is fatal exception

after booting, I get an error message stating "fatal exception OD at 0147:00CD9326.

It then tells me to press any key to continue. When I do, everything continues as normal, except the screen is very large. It does this each tome I boot-up.

Try scan disk this will fix any problem that you might face with the file system if this does not work you may have to use a emergency repair disk to fix the problem.
