Why email doesn't delete directly out

cannot delete e-mails from inbox, it sends a copy to the delete folder but will not delete from inbox.

The reason why email deletes from your inbox to your deleted folder is so that if you delete the email accidently you could recover it It is good idea to have it that way just in case you highlight the wrong email for deletion You could always dump whatever is in your deleted folder box.
