Let Data Doctors be your personal IT department today

Just installed a new HP 5650 printer on a nonnetworked workstation running Win2k Pro sp3 under the administrator account. Printer works as advertised. Login as my regular user account and now the printer takes 40 seconds to start to print even the smallest job. All regular user accounts experience this behavior. I make my regular account a member of the administrators group and the problem goes away. Sounds like HP hosed up configuring the installation of the drivers.

Any suggestions?

TIA

Al
