My computer wont shut down when i goto start shut down and then it just goes back to the desktop. and same thing for restarting.

The fast shutdown feature might not be compatible with your system.

To disable it, access the system configuration utility

Select the general tab and click the advanced buttom

Select the checkbox to disable fast shuit down
