Going through my files I see a "ton" of *.cab files...

Can these be deleted?

Also, is it safe to delete ALL *.tmp files on my hard drive?

Thank you,

Fred.

.Cab files are files that contain one or more compressed files, and are often used to distribute software on disk The Extract command is used to extract one or more files from the cabinet file , therefore you should not delete them Also a .temp file is a file that is created by windows application to save temporary data, and that may or may not be deleted when the application is unloaded.
