First you should check the obvious things like volume switch and if the speaker is plugged in the proper port on your computer and that if it has an electrical plug that it's also plugged in Also check the on/off switch on the speaker After go to start, settings, control panel, sounds and multimedia Make sure that your sound is not muted from there You can also get there from your system tray That is the area on the right bottom side of your monitor where your clock is Right click the loudspeaker and go to open volume controls and make sure that the mute check box is not checked.
