How to adjust the monitor.

I just got a"new to me" computer. My old one had 95. the new one is 98.I'm using my old moniter, but there is a 1 inch black border on the sides. How do I make the screen size the same as the moniter? Thanks.

It sounds like you can adjust your problem using the buttons on your monitor itself Try to find the button for the horizontal hold That will adjust the left and right sides of your screen.
