How to fix the floopy drive.

hi,my(not sure what you call it)the thing you put the floppy disks in and it operates the computer is not working !its all connected the plugs cables and so on and the fuse is ok!but it wont switch on.help me!

You may have all the plugs in, but they may not be in correctly There is a particular cable, the data cable needs to be inserted in a specific way The data cable is the flat cable with kind of a hole in it One side has a red stripe going down the side When you plug it the red stripe must be facing the inside of your motherboard This may fix your problem.
