The print screen key is not often used to actually print something from your computer Well not always, the major function of the print screen key is to take a snapshot of whatever is currently being displayed on your monitor This is useful when you would like to show someone an error message on your screen You would hit the print screen key, open a blank Word or Wordpad and Paste the image into it Afterwards you can email it to someone It's better when you hit Alt Printscreen to get the currently open document.
But on some programs, very few the print screen key is used to print.
