Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 errors

When attempting to use Roxio Easy CD & DVD Creator 6 to copy files to a CD-R, I received an error message: Format operation on drive F:\ failed: Windows reported an error. Error Code = 261. This message appeared in a dialog box with the title Drag-to-Disc, a feature of Roxio Easy CD Creator. The CD-R then became unusable; no files can now be copied to it. I was dragging the files while in Windows Explorer. What caused this error message, and what does it mean? Should I have done something differently?

I suggest you check with the manufacturers web site make sure if those programs are compatible with your operating system And if there are not you will not be able to install and run these programs You can also ugrade you windows to see if its a driver problem.
