I have having problems with upgrading my Intel Celeron 1.7 Ghz to a Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz. I believe the proccessor is set right, however, when I boot my system, and it gets to my desktop, it is EXTREMLY slow, as almost as if its srgguling to run. Im not sure if I need to update my BIOS, and Im not quite sure how to do it if i do.

You should recheck your processor connection, just to be sure To upgrade your BIOS, you should go to the website of the producers of the BIOS and download the upgrade on to a new floppy disk Following instructions You should also be in DOS mode and you can use A:\>flash bios.bin command to upgrade
