Hello and help!

My computer will not search! If I try to go to Google it will go to another site. If I search through MSN, Cox or Yahoo it "can't find page". I recently uninstalled some programs I was not using along with spyware. Is this a virus?

When you deleted some files you may have changed your browser's proxy settings If you use Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options and click Connections Click LAN settings and check Use proxy sever The click Advanced and see if there's a progrm listed in the HTTP field.

If you use Netscape Navigator, you must first click Edit, Preferences, double click the category Advanced and select Proxies In the panel on the right choose "Direct connection to the Internet." As with IE, check Netscape's Maual procy configuration for a leftover program.
