I have upgraded to Windows XP Professional on my computer and was running lovely until for about a week when my wife was playing on the game and went black out on the monitor.

My son have tried to reboot it and nothing happened. I opened the case because I smelt something burning and found the heatsink (cooing fan) hanging of the processor. The clip broke on the fan where it attach the processor cover. I bought a new one which is even bigger than the old one. Put the new on and nothing happened again. What would it likely to be.....the processor burned out? Just to tell you that my monitor stayed on orange which in fact should come up on green. Any helpers?

Video card must be burn out together with the processor So you need to change the Video Card and install a bigger fan on top of the processor to keep the processor cool as possible.
