I recently had to have my hard drive replaced and lost the icon for Microsoft Word. Is there any way to put the icon back on the screen?

You might want to find the original icon of Word, it should be in the programs files, also go to start--> program--> Microsoft work, you should be able to see the shortcut icon If you see it you can right click Microsoft Word and on the menu choose create a shortcut After that a message window will prompt you to create a short cut in your desktop, choose YES

If you cannot still find the original Microsoft Word Icon, then you need to you might have not installed check on the add/remove program on the control panel to see if you have the program install if don't then Install it and follow the step that I announce.

If you already have it install then let windows to search the files of Microsoft Word and if it find it just right click and create a short cut.
