I have multiple subfolders in my Windows system folder that I suspect are Windows XP Updates that I installed online. They are named similarly, such as: $NtUninstallKB282010$. The number in the folder names are different. Is it safe to "delete" these folders without harming the operating system?

It is not recommended that you delete that folder or any other that you or anyone else who uses your PC did not make themself That particular folder seems to be a hidden folder used to uninstall Win NT which is part of the basic core of Windows XP So again I recommend that you leave the folder there to prevent any harm to your PC.
